Angel Reese Earns Praise After Off-Court Announcement on Thursday

The Chicago Sky are entering the 2025 WNBA All-Star break with a 7-15 record. This places them in 11th place in the league standings and several games behind the Las Vegas Aces for the final spot in the playoffs. Second-year forward Angel Reese has put together another highly productive campaign this season. She earned her second consecutive All-Star nod after averaging 14.0 points, 12.6 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 21 games for the Sky.
On Thursday, Reese made an off-the-court announcement, which is that she is hosting a back-to-school event for kids in Chicago. She will be handing out free backpacks and school supplies to over 1,000 students and will have various other activities at the event.
