Eagles QB Jalen Hurts’ Private Message from Wife Bry Burrows Revealed
The Eagles QB had a note from his wife with him when he announced their big personal news. Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts keeps his personal life with his wife, Bry Burrows, fairly private. The college sweethearts, who met at the University of Alabama in 2016, secretly got married this spring after Hurts took home MVP honors from Philadelphia’s Super Bowl LIX win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
The couple did not reveal details such as the date or location of their wedding. Instead, Hurts simply told Men’s Health, “You can call her my wife.” According to Men’s Health’s Cori Ritchey, the 28-year-old quarterback carried a small pink crumbled up Post-it note with supportive words that was signed “B,” short for his partner’s full name, Bryonna. “You are exactly where you are supposed to be,” the note said. “I love you. Follow God! I follow you.” That day, Hurts’ destined location was across from the interviewer as he shared the couple’s life-changing news.

Fast forward to this Sunday, and Hurts will be in Philadelphia looking to lead the Eagles to their eighth win of the 2025 NFL season against the Detroit Lions on “Sunday Night Football.” Before the season, he gave a rare interview to “Good Morning America” about how being married encouraged him to thrive as he prepared to defend the Super Bowl crown this year.
“You know where your strength comes from,” Hurts said before the Eagles’ season opener against the Dallas Cowboys. “You know where your rock is. And those are the things that always give you encouragement anytime you step into something.” Through his first nine games, Hurts has accounted for 2,094 combined passing and rushing yards and 21 total touchdowns. The Eagles’ game against the Lions kicks off at 8:20 p.m. ET on Sunday on NBC
