Instagram uncovers the truth about Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese rivalry

Social media users have noticed that Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese do not follow each other. While it’s common for competitors to avoid following each other on social media, Clark does follow other prominent players such as Sabrina Ionescu of the New York Liberty and fellow rookie Cameron Brink. Reese, on the other hand, follows stars such as Las Vegas Aces’ A’ja Wilson and also follows Brink.

Clark’s dismissive comments about the rivalry haven’t quelled the speculation and the absence of mutual follows on Instagram only adds to the narrative.  “I’m pretty sure the only people that view this as a rivalry is all of you,” she bluntly told the press. “Like, to us it’s just a game of basketball.”
