Jake Paul drives HIMSELF to hospital after YouTuber suffers broken jaw in horror KO defeat to Anthony Joshua

JAKE PAUL drove HIMSELF to hospital after suffering a broken jaw against Anthony Joshua.  The Problem Child was knocked out by two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua in the sixth round of their Miami showdown.

In his post-fight interview, Paul admitted that he’d broken his jaw during the fight.  The 28-year-old former YouTuber spat blood, before telling Ariel Helwani in the ring: “I think my jaw is broken, by the way. It’s definitely broke.

“But that was a nice little a** whopping from one of the best to ever do it.  “I love this s***, but I’m going to come back and get a championship belt at some time.

“I’m feeling good, that was fun. I love this sport. I gave it my all, It’s f***ing crazy. I had a blast.  “I got my a** beat, but that’s what this sport is about. I’m going to come back and keep on winning.”

Understandably given his injuries, Paul did not attend the post-fight press conferences.  In his place, Paul’s right-hand man Nakisa Bidarian revealed: “We met with Netflix afterwards, he took a shower, he drove himself to the hospital.

“A broken jaw is very common in sports, particularly in boxing or MMA and I think the recovery time from doctors we’ve already spoken to is four-six weeks.”

Paul posted a short clip from his hospital bed barely an hour after leaving the ring.

With his brother by his side, Paul gingerly moved his mouth – with the post editing dialogue from hit film Ted – saying: “I’m a little f***ed up. Will you take care of me forever and ever.”

Joshua, 36, gave Paul credit after the fight.  The Watford bruiser said: “It wasn’t the best performance.  “The goal was to get Jake Paul out and hurt him.  “Jake Paul has done really well tonight. I want to give him his props, he got up, time and time again.”

Paul, meanwhile, vowed to win a world title one day.  The American said: “I’m feeling good, that was fun, I love this sport.  “Anthony is a great fighter and I got beat but that’s what this sport is about.

“I have already won in every way of life. This sport has helped me so much.  “I’m going to come back and get a world championship belt at some point.  “I just got tired to be honest. “He did amazing and hits really hard.”
