Floyd Mayweather Jr called “lonely” after footage of him at Aces vs Sky WNBA game surfaces

The WNBA is getting bigger and bigger, and a few of the reasons for that were on display on Tuesday night when the Las Vegas Aces and Chicago Sky played each other. A’ja Wilson and Kelsey Plum have done a ton to take the league up a notch, and rookie Angel Reese has done her part to bring in more fans after a highly successful college career.

With more eyes on the league, it’s no surprise to see more famous athletes and celebrities showing up at games. It doesn’t hurt that the Aces play at the Michelob ULTRA Arena in a hotbed for sports. Naturally, Floyd Mayweather Jr. made an appearance at the Aces-Sky game, and he got social media talking because of what he did courtside.

Mayweather was spotted sitting completely alone, with a bag full of money in the seat next to him. “Money Mayweather” has never been shy to flaunt his wealth, but some found it a bit odd, while others said he “looks lonely”.

One user in particular really leaned into him, with a more general commentary on fame as a whole.

“How bad does your life suck when you have to purchase all those seats and sit all alone with no one to chill with. That sucks a** bro. Being rich and famous sucks too”.

Mayweather has been hearing criticism throughout his whole life, so nothing affects him, but it was a bit of an odd situation. Look for him to attend with a person next time, most likely.
