Angel Reese continues to attract attention in her debut WNBA season as one of the sport’s biggest names celebrated her outfit as she headed to the 2024 Olympic Games’ opening ceremony party in Paris.  The Chicago Sky star recently admitted that whilst she’s a fiery personality on the basketball court, she does like to be a “girly girl” off it and she showed the softer side to herself by rocking a Louis Vuitton dress to the Prelude to the Olympics” party in France.

The white dress, which stops at her upper thighs and looked like a tennis players’ outfit, was accompanied by a brown-patterned neck scarf and brown bag as the 22-year-old showed up at the Foundation Louis Vuitton.  And it went viral online, even catching the attention of some of Reese’s esteemed peers such as Lisa Leslie, who won two WNBA Finals in 2001 and 2002 with the Los Angeles Sparks, whilst also becoming Finals MVP too.

“Cat Walk,” Leslie said on Instagram, replying to Reese’s post with five fire emojis as the plaudits came rolling in for the 2023 NCAA Women’s Division I basketball champion.  It’s the latest wave of support from Leslie, who seems determined to protect the sixth pick of the 2024 WNBA Draft from criticism in her debut campaign with the Chicago Sky as she continues to impress fans on and off the court.

Reese’s personality has attracted a lot of praise, but her stats in the forward role have been good too with an average of 13.5 points per game and 11.9 rebounds per game leaving her in contention for the honor of WNBA Rookie of the Year.

Who does Angel Reese play next?

The Chicago Sky and Angel Reese are currently enjoying their summer break in the WNBA and will not return to action until Thursday, August 15 when they welcome the Pheonix Mercury (.520) to the Wintrust Arena.  The game is expected to start at 20:00 ET/17:00 PT and will see the Sky bid to improve their seasonal record to 11 wins and 14 losses.
