Gabrielle Union’s Four-Word Angel Reese Statement Goes Viral

Chicago Sky star Angel Reese announced on Sunday that the next guest for her “Unapologetically Angel” podcast is none other than NBA icon Dwyane Wade. As it turns out, Reese did not only get to spend time with the three-time NBA champ. The Sky rookie also rubbed elbows with Dwyane’s wife, Gabrielle Union.

The Wade’s now reside in Florida, but Dwyane, in particular, will always have a soft spot for his hometown of Chicago. This is likely why he agreed to be one of the first guests on Angel’s podcast now that Reese is establishing herself as the Chicago Sky’s cornerstone star.

Not only that, but Reese has emerged as one of the most popular athletes in the WNBA today. This is because apart from her incredible talent on the court, more than a few fans believe that Angel is also one of the prettiest players out there — a notion that Gabrielle Union clearly agrees with.  “Even better in person 💖” the actress wrote on X, formerly Twitter as she shared a post containing a couple of close-up photos of Reese with the caption “FACE CARD.”

Union’s four-word statement quickly went viral. As of writing, the tweet has already amassed over 340,000 views. Even Reese herself re-tweeted Gabrielle’s post as the Sky forward flexed the wonderful compliment from the Hollywood star.

Now that the season is over for Reese and the Sky, the former LSU superstar can focus on building her brand outside of basketball. For now, this entails hosting a weekly podcast that features some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment.  Reese and her team will have a tough time topping Dwyane Wade, though. It goes without saying that her next guests will have some big shoes to fill.
