Former United States President Donald Trump and his love for the National Football League (NFL) team, the New England Patriots goes a long way. The love was reserved for the team’s success and for the quarterback Tom Brady. In a recent report that has surfaced, Trump’s former consultant Sam Nunberg alleges that Trump had mocked Brady and his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen.

What did Donald Trump say?

The former quarterback for the New England Patriots has earned respect on and off the field after displaying his talent. Former Rolling Stone’s editor-in-chief, during his appearance on ‘Pablo Torres Finds Out’ podcast claimed that Trump saw Tom Brady as his son-in-law.

He also mentioned that Donald Trump wanted Tom Brady to date and marry his daughter Ivanka Trump. To get to the bottom of the matter former Rolling Stone’s editor-in-chief contacted Sam Nunberg as he later said, “Donald [Trump] would frequently say that Tom [Brady] knows that Melania is prettier than Gisele. And he did occasionally say, don’t you think Ivanka is prettier than Gisele?”  Nunberg worked for Trump for three years from 2011 to 2014. In 2014, he was fired just before Trump’s first presidential bid.

The relationship between Donald Trump and Tom Brady

Before joining the politics, Donald Trump and Tom Brady shared good terms. Moreover, Trump’s campaign hat ‘Make America Great Again’ was featured in Brady’s locker room in 2015. Brady also did everything in his power to hype Donald Trump to the press.

“Tom Brady confirms Donald Trump’s “Make America Great Again” hat was in his locker, says he’s good friend & has done “amazing” things.”  This news spread like wildfire and Brady distanced himself from the former United States President. After winning the Super Bowl back in 2017, Brady chose not to visit the White House as Donald Trump was the President.  After retiring from the sport of the NFL, Tom Brady shifted his focus to broadcaster role as Trump is running for the presidential post once again.
