Patrick Mahomes gives goosebump speech to Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs

Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are set to become one of the legendary duos of the NFL not only because of their chemistry on and off the field, but also because of the energy they transmit to their teammates.   Mahomes and Kelce, along with the Kansas City Chiefs, are looking to become the only team in history to win three Super Bowls in a row.

The path to glory is looking smooth with a current 5-0 record and this Sunday, the Chiefs want to keep on the winning record as they face the San Francisco 49ers in a Super Bowl rematch at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.  Before the game, the superstar quarterback gave Kelce and the Chiefs a goosebump speech:

“Hey, mentality game (…) We dominate every single play, we fight and make plays, we go out and get a win!,” said Mahomes to this teammates, getting the current champions all the fire they need to beat one of the best teams in the NFL.  The highlight of NFL Week 7 is the matchup between the defending champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, and the San Francisco 49ers, in a rematch of Super Bowl LVIII.

Both teams are looking to sharpen their form in a season that has been tougher than expected, with the playoffs of 2024 in sight.  Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are coming off their bye week, aiming to extend their perfect 5-0 record, which gives them the best mark in the AFC.

They are one of only two undefeated teams left in the league, alongside the surprising Minnesota Vikings.  On the other hand, the 49ers, the reigning NFC champions, have had a challenging season due to injuries and a general drop in form, leading to a 3-3 record.

Despite this, they remain tied for first place in the NFC West with the Seattle Seahawks  Kyle Shanahan’s team, while struggling, still boasts a talented core that led them to the Super Bowl last year.  As their injured stars gradually return, they are expected to improve for the second half of the season. They are led by their standout quarterback, Brock Purdy, and their formidable defense.
