Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley is one ofthebest players at his position and he’s having a very good 2024 NFL season tied at 2nd with the most yards through 8 games (766), 5 touchdowns (tied at 11th) and 130 carries (6th overall). The Eagles signed Barkley to a three-year, $37.75 million deal in the offseason and the move already has paid dividends.

Barkley makes an out of this world jump

The New York native made an impressive play during the second quarter of the Eagles Sunday game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. As Barkley made a catch at the 50 yard line, he hurdled through defenders and jumped high to avoid getting hit.

The spectacular play was part of the reason why Philaldephia beat Jacksonville 28-23, which improved the Eagles record to 6-2, while the Jaguars fell to 2-7.

Barkley had 159 yards on 27 carries and one touchdown.

The Eagles hosted the Jaguars in their Kelly Green game at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday afternoon. After leading 22-0, the Eagles fought off the Jaguars second half comeback bid to pick up a 28-23 victory and move to 6-2 on the year.  With the win, the Eagles moved to second place of the NFC East, while thje Jaguars are dead last on the AFC South.
