Patrick Mahomes’ mom reacts to Sterling being so protective of Bronze that she looks like Brittany

Randi Mahomes says Sterling Skye’s caring nature for Patrick Mahomes’ young son reminds her of their mother, Brittany, in a cute video featuring the Kansas City Chiefs star’s closest family members. The moment came during the quarterback’s postgame interview after he defeated the Houston Texans 23-14 on January 18, to book the Chiefs a spot in the AFC Championship game, and was joined by his family.
There, the three-year-old Sterling could be seen tapping her little brother, Bronze, as he curiously took in his surroundings. The elder sister then handed him a hug and a kiss, although the two-year-old didn’t seem to react too much. “This video is priceless,” Randi Mahomes later said, posting the video to Instagram of the adorable moment as the grandmother enjoyed watching the affection between the youthful siblings.
Sterling and Bronze are now not the only children in their family either, after Patrick and Brittany welcomed Golden Raye to the world on Sunday, January 12. The couple announced the news with a cute black-and-white photo of them holding hands besides her feet, as she remained wrapped up in blankets to keep her warm and appeared to be sleeping.
“Winning on and off the field! I am so proud of you, son,” Randi Mahomes said of Patrick’s success within the NFL and outside of the sport too. “Grateful for the moments with family that mean the most.” The Mahomes household now includes the 29-year-old Brittany and Patrick and their children, as well as two dogs the family adores too. The family own Steel, a pit bull, and Silver, a Cane Corso.
What time is the Chiefs vs Bills?
Brittany’s birth came at just the right time to avoid distracting Patrick as he continues his quest for an unprecedented, and record, third Super Bowl title in a row alongside Travis Kelce and Andy Reid.
After defeating the Texans, the Kansas City Chiefs will now take on the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship game. The match will take place at the Arrowhead Stadium on January 26. Kick-off is from 18:30 ET/15:30 PT.
