Chiefs Super Bowl A ‘Golden’ Family Affair For Patrick And Brittany Mahomes

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes won’t be short on support in New Orleans as he chases a third straight Super Bowl win against the Philadelphia Eagles. With so many Chiefs fans from all over the world converging on New Orleans for The Big Game, there will be lots of red and white in the stands.
But Patrick will have a special someone who will be attending their very first NFL game, which just happens to be the Super Bowl. So, who is that special person? Patrick and Brittany’s three-week-old daughter, Golden. “She’s been amazing, she’s been sleeping well,” Mahomes said via Page Six. “Mom’s been extremely happy, and I’m excited for her to be able to come. I think it’ll be her first football game at the Super Bowl, and I hope that we get her a win.”
With Patrick’s other two children, Bronze and Sterling, both have seen their dad lift the Super Bowl trophy and have been on the field to celebrate with the All-Pro QB, Patrick wanted Golden to experience the same thing. “I mean, just because I want them to have the same experiences that the other two have,” he added.
Now, we aren’t sure exactly how much of the experience baby Golden will remember – probably pretty close to zero – but there will be pictures and videos to remind her of the time she was at the Super Bowl with her legendary dad. It figures to be a very special moment, and not just for the Mahomes family.
And though this is not at all the plan – not when you are accustomed to winning, as is established by the fact that Kansas City is shooting for an unprecedented Super Bowl three-peat … Even if the Chiefs aren’t victorious against the Eagles, Patrick having Brittany and his three kids there to greet him post-game might soften the blow just a little.
