It only took one season for Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese to revolutionize the WNBA. Averaging 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds, Reese set the single-season record for rebounds as a rookie. Her season was cut short due to a wrist injury, but she still received All-Rookie honors for her stellar 34 games.

In addition to her production on the court, Reese’s endorsements have extended to some of the biggest brands in America, including deals with McDonald’s, Reebok and Amazon. She also started her “Unapologetically Angel” podcast this offseason and made several appearances at professional sporting events, captivating fans at NFL, NBA and college basketball games.

Early on Sunday, Reese teased an announcement for a new line of her exclusive merchandise. She asked her fans on X what she should produce as part of the new line, and many replied with different ideas. However, Reese provided an unfortunate update later on Sunday.  “ok so most of the stuff yall listing will drop with my signature line so yall gon have to wait until 2026 for that 😭 but i got yall,” she wrote.

Reese did well communicating and being upfront with her fans, but having to wait until 2026 is unfortunate for those who got excited on Sunday morning. While her signature line will certainly be worth the wait, fans will have to endure another WNBA season without certain personalized Reese gear.  Fans can still buy Reese’s jersey and several licensed products from the WNBA with her likeness on it. They will also have a chance to cheer her on when the season begins on May 17 against the Indiana Fever.
