Angel Reese confesses which NFL team she’s a fan of and gets an invite from Simone Biles’ nemesis

Angel Reese has dominated the WNBA in her rookie season but it’s not the only sport she enjoys, as she has revealed which NFL team she likes to follow, although Simone Biles might not like it.  Reese, who is currently enjoying a break from the busy life of professional basketball due to the 2024 Olympic Games, was born in Maryland so one might correctly deduce that she watches the Baltimore Ravens.  “@ravens, DUH.,” was the response of the 22-year-old Reese when she was asked on X.com, formerly Twitter, by one of her fans leaving no ambiguity about her chosen team.

So, it means the ex-LSU Tiger would have experienced heartbreak in the new year when Patrick Mahomes’ Kansas City Chiefs triumphed over Lamar Jackson’s Ravens in the AFC Conference Championship game.  It also means Reese snubbed becoming a fan of the Washington Commanders, based in the capital D.C and also in the Maryland area, but she was born some 48.9 miles away in Randallstown in the suburbs of Baltimore.  That means she had only a 16.1-mile trip to the M&T Bank Stadium, where Jackson will make big plays to Derrick Henry in 2024.

Biles’ enemy invites Reese to podcast

Simone Biles might not be an athlete who figured into this picture, and she wasn’t until Marlon Humphreys decided to slam her and Jordan Chiles’ decision to kneel for Rebeca Andrade after the Brazilian took gold in the floor exercise at the 2024 Olympic Games.

Humphreys, who attracted a lot of criticism for describing it as “literally disgusting”, invited Reese onto his podcast after she announced her loyalty to the Ravens’ faction on Wednesday, August 7.  “Podcast?,” said the Punch Line Podcast, quoting Reese’s tweet on X.com, seemingly inviting the Sky star onto their show.
