Angel Reese is not only a sports star, she has also become a fashion icon. The Chicago Sky forward knows how to make an impression, just as she did this Saturday with her outfit to arrive at the WNBA All-Star Game. The spectacular ensemble earned her recognition from none other than hip-hop star Meghan Thee Stallion.

Since arriving in the WNBA, Reese has stood out by much more than her spectacular performances on the court. You could say that her ability to capture rebounds is just above her talent to steal the spotlight with her fashion statements.  Since the 2024 Draft, the so-called “Chi-Barbie” attracted attention thanks to her spectacular dress, which earned her praise from her admirers. Since then, Reese has turned her arrivals at WNBA games into a spectacle worthy of any fashion show.

This Saturday, the Sky star arrived at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona, in a two-piece set consisting of a top and matching skirt. The top was off-the-shoulder style, with long sleeves, and the skirt was tight and midi-length. Both were made of light, translucent fabric with earthy and purple tone patterns.

Angel Reese dazzled music stars

Reese’s sizzling style caught the attention of her fans and hip-hop royalty. Rapper Meghan Thee Stallion did not hesitate to compliment the player. The songstress responded to Angel’s post with only three heart-eyed emojis, which were more than enough to make clear her admiration for the WNBA star.

Thee Stallion wasn’t the only one who fell for the Sky forward. Players Cameron Brink, Kalani Brown, Aliyah Boston, Raven Johnson, Nneka Ogwumike, and Alyah Rosario, as well as actress Jordyn Lucas, also showered the former LSU Tiger with praise.  Angel’s daring outfit generated an immediate impact on social media. So far, the post has accumulated more than 216,000 likes and 2,000 comments.

It was a good match for Reese

Reese did not disappoint on the court either. The 12 points and 11 rebounds that the forward got were vital for Team WNBA to beat Team USA 117-109.  After the match, Reeseimmediately left for Paris, France, where she will take advantage of the break in the WNBA regular season to support Team USA in its participation in the 2024 Olympic Games.  We will have to wait to see if the Chicago Sky star also graces the Olympic tournament with any of her spectacular outfits.
