Angel Reese continued her double-double streak during another impressive performance on Tuesday night, helping the Chicago Sky defeat the Atlanta Dream by the final score of 85-77.  Reese recorded her 11th consecutive double-double before the end of the third quarter, extending her WNBA single-season record that she previously set on Sunday.

She finished the game with 12 points, 19 rebounds, and three assists in 36 minutes on the floor. Reese also racked up two blocks while shooting 5-12 from the field.  Chennedy Carter recorded a team-high 26 points on 11-16 shooting, dishing out four assists and scoring six straight points to put the game away in the fourth quarter after Chicago held a narrow one-point advantage with less than two minutes remaining.

As for Reese, the former LSU standout already entered Tuesday’s contest as the league’s leading rebounder. Earlier in the day, she was also announced as the WNBA Rookie of the Month in June.

After the game, Reese was also named to the 2024 All-Star roster. Fans celebrated her accomplishment and complimented her performance against Atlanta.

The Sky snapped a two-game losing streak with their win on Tuesday, holding an overall record of 7-11.
