Angel Reese proudly shows her Christianity as she practices before games
There is no question that Angel Reese is a devout Christian. In the past and in the present, she has expressed her faith and love for it often. Now, as a professional in the WNBA, she has something special to combine her love for the game and her faith. While it is evident that she loves her faith and the Almighty reciprocates by answering her prayers, she has been able to combine everything that makes her happy and on Saturday, Reese came forward to share that gesture she really appreciates.
Reese took to social media to post “The best thing anyone can do or tell me is that they prayed or have been praying for me!,” as she had many replies following that post on her X platform account, formerly known as Twitter. This is not the first time she has gone public and her believes. Reese had already shown her Christianity when in May she revealed her happiness because she was able to go to a chapel for the first time. After that, she stated that she sees beyond the game when it comes to being religious and that players from other teams can also join her in the sacred place.
The best thing somebody can ever do/say to me is that they prayed or they’ve been praying for me!

She carries a vocal message
The WNBA star said once “God, I couldn’t do it without God, so to be able to have that… I love that about the league, like being able to have a chapel, the chapel is something that I really, really, really love,” at the time, as she revealed that she prays before every game she plays in.
She also said she reads her demotion every morning in what is a faith that has propelled her towards greatness and made her the player she is today. On the court, Reese has already been praised by many as the frontrunner for the Rookie of the Year award.
She is the only WNBA first year player to average double-doubles in games and so far in the season she has scored 13.5 points per game with 11.1 rebounds. She is currently considered a better player than her rival Caitlin Clark, to whom she was compared at the beginning of the season.
