Angel Reese Reacts To WNBA All-Star’s Big Announcement
During the WNBA All-Star Game, Chicago Sky rookie sensation Angel Reese got to rub elbows with the who’s-who of the league. One of those was Allisha Gray of the Atlanta Dream, who herself made a big announcement on Thursday about her plans this coming offseason.
Reese and Gray suited up for Team WNBA as they both played their part in the squad’s 117-109 upset victory against Team USA in the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game. On Thursday, Gray took to X, formerly Twitter, to announce that she will take part in the debut season of Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart’s 3×3 Unrivaled League.
“See you in Miami in January! 🌴who do you think is next!? 👀” Gray wrote.

Reese herself was already previously announced as one of the participants in this highly anticipated venture, and she just had to react to the prospect of playing alongside Gray again. The Sky star came across a post on X that read, “We get these two back together again 🥹,” referencing Reese and Gray. Angel clearly liked the message so she decided to give the post a retweet.

Along with Angel Reese, Gray will now join the likes of Arike Ogunbowale, Kelsey Plum and Chelsea Gray, among others, in the Unrivaled League. For what it’s worth, Gray, who is currently averaging 15.7 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.0 steals, and 1.7 triples per game, will be an unrestricted free agent in 2025 (unless she signs an extension with the Dream). Perhaps there’s a possibility that Gray ends up teaming up with Reese somewhere down the road.
