Angel Reese shares 5-word mic drop after Rose’s Unrivaled championship win

Angel Reese, you are Unrivaled.

The Rose forward’s first season with the league ends with multiple titles: Defensive Player of the Year and Unrivaled champion. She’s had quite the run in Miami, including some one-on-one work with Lisa Leslie that fueled tremendous growth and an undeniable connection with the “Point Gawd,” Chelsea Gray. (Angel even had some fun along the way, trolling teammate Brittney Sykes with her other teammate, Lexie Hull. )

Eventually, all the hard work by Rose Basketball Club fueled an upset win over the Laces in the Unrivaled Semifinals and the most significant victory ― a championship trophy ― despite several injuries, including Reese, who was, unfortunately, out with a hand injury. Of course, Angel only had one thing to say after winning and threw it back to her LSU days: “What y’all gon say now?” MIC. DROP.
