Angel Reese’s Emotional Admission About Viral Halloween Costume

Chicago Sky star Angel Reese made sure to join in on the action of Halloween this year. She decided to dress up as the iconic Batman villain Poison Ivy as the 22-year-old donned a spicy bodysuit adorned with faux leaves. Reese even painted herself green to complete the look, which she paired with a bright red wig.

Unsurprisingly, her Poison Ivy photos quickly blew up online. Her Instagram post garnered close to 500,000 likes in less than 24 hours (as of writing), while several other outlets on social media shared the photos as well.  All in all, Reese’s 2024 Halloween costume was an absolute hit.

On Friday, Reese took to X to make an admission about her Poison Ivy costume. According to the WNBA All-Star, this is actually her first Halloween dress-up experience.  “This was my first year dressing up for Halloween and it was sooo much fun but everybody dressing up as me for halloween this year made me soooo happy! I love yall so much 🥺🩷” Reese tweeted.

While Reese enjoyed her first time wearing a costume on Halloween, the 6-foot-3 forward could not help but get a little bit emotional after seeing a number of fans dress up as her for the highly popular holiday.  Reese made sure to show her love and appreciation for her supporters, who, at this point, have grown to massive proportions.
