Angel Reese’s former teammate and now rival with Lynx reveals a hidden truth about her

Diamond Miller contributed 10 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists in the Minnesota Lynx’s 80-75 victory over Angel Reese’s Chicago Sky.
However, the Minnesota forward is not in the news for her numbers but for a curious anecdote she shared about her former teammate and now rival.
In the matchup, Chicago Sky (5-12) came out to give it their all on the court from the start, taking a big lead in the first quarter. However, Rachel Banham’s 20 points and Reese’s 16 were not enough to secure the victory.
The Lynx (17-2) turned the game around in the second quarter by capitalizing on their free throws and extended their lead for the rest of the game. Courtney Williams led the game with 25 points and Napheesa Collier contributed 21.
Miller’s words about Reese
Diamond Miller, for her part, already knew who she was facing: a former teammate at the University of Maryland. Angel Reese and she played together for the Terrapins for two seasons and together led the Big Ten tournament championship during the 2020-21 season.
However, after the game against the Sky, Miller told reporters about her relationship with Reese and how she felt about facing her:

Meanwhile, Angel and the Chicago Sky are preparing to face the Washington Mystics (8-10) on Tuesday at Eaglebank Arena. There, they will try to secure a victory to improve their record and their place in the league (12th). Will Reese bring out her most competitive side?
