Angel Reese’s Interaction With Paige Bueckers is Turning Heads

Angel Reese and Paige Bueckers have already become quite the duo — even before playing together in the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game. The Chicago Sky forward and Dallas Wings guard are both playing for Team Collier, with Bueckers serving as a starter and Reese as a reserve. On Friday, the All-Star teams took the court in Indianapolis for their practice before the big game on Saturday.
Interestingly, Reese and Bueckers generated plenty of buzz after several photos from the All-Star practice surfaced. ESPNW shared the photos on Instagram, with the first slide showing the two youngsters all smiles while practicing and playing around. Sure enough, fans couldn’t help but comment on the photos, with many taking notice of Bueckers and Reese’s closeness and the joy they displayed together.

Another one made a “Titanic” reference, saying, “Look at Angel and Paige being like Jack and Rose.” “All eyes are gonna be on that angel and Paige connection tomorrow,” a hyped fan claimed. A supporter added, “AR5 and PB5 LETS GO!!!!!!!” “those Paige dimes to Angel are gonna be [fire],” an excited follower remarked. “Angel and Paige. my Shaylasss. My favs ..the big 5’s,” a sixth poster noted.
It’s not surprising why there’s a ton of excitement surrounding the pairing of Paige Bueckers and Angel Reese. They are considered two of the most promising young talents in the WNBA, and both have proven that they can dominate on the court. Bueckers is averaging 18.4 points, 4.1 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game in her rookie season. Meanwhile, Reese is putting up yet another another double-double campaign this 2025, with averages of 14.0 points and 12.6 rebounds, along with 3.8 assists.
