Brittany Mahomes has emphatic reaction to Patrick Mahomes winning ESPY Award
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been awarded the “Best NFL Player” at the 2024 ESPY Awards, according to an early announcement from NFL on ESPN. The official ceremony will take place on July 11, but Mahomes’ latest accolade was revealed a day prior.
Mahomes emerged victorious over other top contenders for the award, including Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett, San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey, and Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson. This recognition comes as no surprise given Mahomes’ impressive performance, leading the Chiefs to back-to-back Super Bowl appearances

Thank you @ESPYS.” His mother, Randi Mahomes, also shared the news on Instagram Stories, commenting, “Always and forever so proud of you.”
Mahomes could still win more ESPY’s
Mahomes, a three-time Super Bowl MVP and last year’s “Best NFL Player” winner, remains in contention for two more awards at the 2024 ESPYs: “Best Male Athlete” and “Best Team” for the Kansas City Chiefs. The remaining winners will be unveiled during the 32nd annual ESPY Awards ceremony at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Thursday.
