Brittany Mahomes’ lucky charm during Kansas City Chiefs games revealed

Kansas City Chiefs WAG Brittany Mahomes seems to have a secret good luck charm when she cheers on her husband, quarterback Patrick Mahomes, at all of his games – and it appears to be working.  Over the past few years, Brittany has been spotted at Arrowhead Stadium and beyond with Mahomes’ jersey number emblazoned somewhere on her clothing.

Patrick Mahomes’ number, 15, has made a splash on her coats, pants, tops, shorts and accessories – showing up in all different spots and designs.  With her bestie, Taylor Swift, superstitiously sporting the same black skirt she wore to last year’s AFC championship on Sunday night, it could be no coincidence that Brittany appears to wear her husband’s jersey number much of the time.

Plus, the Kansas City Chiefs have made it to the Super Bowl the past three years, winning both the 2023 and 2024 games.  On February 9, the team will take on The Philadelphia Eagles in New Orleans, a rematch from the 2023 Super Bowl.  And this season, Brittany has worn her husband’s jersey number a ton, including when The Chiefs took on the Houston Texans in the NFL divisional round on January 18.  She seems especially fond of wearing coats that have his jersey number on it.

Brittany looked chic on the sidelines in a belted, cream-colored puffer jacket with the number ’15’ embroidered on the pockets in the Chiefs’ team colors, gold and red.  She completed the look with a pair of flowing, bright red pants and a small red Miu Miu bag that is priced at over $3,000.  And, on their December 21 game, which was also against the Texans, Brittany sported a $2,230 cream-colored virgin wool coat by Jacquemus with tons of custom embroidery on it.

In red stitching, she had the number 15 embroidered on the collar, along with the names of their children, daughter Sterling Skye, three, son Patrick ‘Bronze’ Lavon, two, and their third baby, who was born weeks after the game.  On the back of the coat read ‘Mahomes’ and ‘Kansas City Chiefs.’  Earlier in the season, for the Chiefs’ October 20 game against the San Francisco 49ers, she donned a dark-colored denim jacket with gold trim and patches that read ‘Chiefs’ and ’15.’

She is also not afraid to show support for her husband through her accessories, like the diamond-emblazoned ’15’ necklaces she’s worn multiple times, including to last year’s Super Bowl.  The mom-of-three owns one bubble-letter style pendant from affordable brand BaubleBar, something she sported in a photo op with Taylor Swift during an early October game.

She also sported a large, diamond-encrusted ’15’ necklace created by Simon G Fine Jewelry while watching the Chiefs defeat the 49ers at last year’s Super Bowl.  Brittany paired the necklace with a bright red, vinyl corset top and matching pants that had a large white ’15’ patch on the leg, made by BroDenim.  Last year, the WAG superstar also had a number of adorable outfits that featured the jersey number, including a black-and-white trench coat with ’15’ embroidered in red on its collar.

She and Swift once matched in cute red puffer jackets that had their partners’ jersey numbers stitched on the front and sleeves when the team played the Miami Dolphins.  The jackets were designed by Kristin Juszczyk, wife of San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk.

Juszczyk recently launched her own clothing collection in partnership with the NFL and Fanatics, heading up the exciting new venture with Khloe Kardashian’s Good American co-founder, businesswoman Emma Grede.  Luckily, Brittany still has one outfit left to wear as she will support her husband in the 2025 Super Bowl.  It’s unclear what she will choose, or if she’ll put on the number ’15,’ but if her look is anything like the previous years’, it seems like there’s a good chance.

In November 2023, Patrick revealed that he wears the same pair of red underwear in every game he’s started in his NFL career, according to ESPN.  After her husband and his team won the AFC championships Sunday night, she looked jubilant as she celebrated with the quarterback on the football field.

Swift even wrapping her arms around Brittany during the celebration, with both of them flashing beaming smiles.  Just like Travis Kelce and Mahomes, the two women seem to have a great friendship off the field, as they’ve been spotted hanging out multiple times over the past few months.  Swift and Kelce exchanged an ‘I love you’ while she embraced her boyfriend of over one year.
