Brittany Mahomes, on an ongoing honeymoon with Patrick: The best offseason
Patrick Mahomes had a pretty sweet NFL season with the Kansas City Chiefs, but it might be the offseason where his heart has truly been at from his recent collage with family, friends and trips around the world.
The quarterback, who is paid $45m per year, has made sure he’s kept himself busy through the spring and summer of 2024 with trips to the American Century Golf Championship, Formula 1 British Grand Prix and a holiday to Portugal.
They even found the time to fly to Amsterdam in the Netherlands for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour as the singer, Mahomes’ and Travis Kelce all met up in what is surely the NFL’s most popular quartet.
And of course, the biggest moment was the news that he’s going to become a dad for the third time after the family announced Brittany Mahomes’ pregnancy on Saturday, July 13 as they await the fifth member.
To remember it by, the 28-year-old NFL star posted a series of photos to his Instagram profile via the stories feature and Brittany did not take her words by reposting the collage and captioning it, “The best offseason,” accompanied with white hearts.
When do the Kansas City Chiefs play their first NFL game?
When Patrick Mahomes threw to Mecole Hardman at the Allegiant Stadium in overtime on February 11, he ended the NFL season by gifting the Chiefs their latest ring as they emerged triumphant over the San Francisco 49ers.
And now the defence of that status as Super Bowl champions is set to get underway in a couple of months’ time when the Chiefs welcome the Baltimore Ravens to the Arrowhead Stadium on Thursday, September 5, 2024, to kick off the NFL season.
In the meantime, Mahomes will slowly start to get back into shape and get back into the groove of things with the first training camp of the year starting on July 21 for the Kansas City Chiefs, which is open to the public and will take place at Missouri Western State University.
