Brittany Mahomes Reveals Why Her Pregnancy with Baby No. 3 ‘Has Been the Hardest’

Brittany Mahomes is sharing an update on her current pregnancy journey.  On Tuesday, July 23, the Kansas City Current co-owner, 28, posted a photo to her Instagram Stories detailing the challenges she’s faced throughout her pregnancy. Brittany and her NFL star husband Patrick Mahomes,28, are expecting their third baby together.  “Good morning just me and my skin that’s losing it’s mind…” the soon-to-be mom of three wrote. “This pregnancy has been the hardest on me… sickness, exhaustion and now skin!”

Brittany added that she’s taking measures to calm her skin down. “Got an amazing facial this morning in hope to help,” she shared.  In a celebratory joint Instagram post on Friday, July 19, the couple revealed that their third child on the way is another girl.

The pair’s 3-year-old daughter Sterling Skye helped unveil the moment by playing a fun game of Tic-Tac-Toe, revealing three pink Xs in a row. Pink smoke and matching confetti completed the scene as Sterling proudly held a “big sister” flag.  The couple are also parents to son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, 19 months.

Brittany hasn’t shied away from the details of how their family has grown over the years.  Asked if Bronze was the result of a planned pregnancy in an Instagram Q&A in spring 2023, Brittany revealed that he was conceived on their wedding night. She was later asked if she got to do any cute pregnancy reveals with her Super Bowl-winning husband.  “Nothing cute lol, both were ‘oh s–t’ moments 😂,” she said.

The mom of two also wasn’t afraid to admit she has help keeping her family flowing smoothly.   “Yes, I have help 😂.” she wrote. “And I’m very thankful for it! Chef, nanny, a virtual assistant lol, and our security team.”
