Bronze Mahomes rebels and runs away from his sister Sterling when Brittany gets careless

Whilst the Kansas City Chiefs’ quarterback Patrick Mahomes gears up for the 2025/26 NFL season, his family has been enjoying a well-earned break as Brittany recently shared a series of vacation photos with their three children. The 29-year-old showed off her post-pregnancy recovery and a humorous parenting moment involving her youngest son, Patrick “Bronze” Mahomes III as they travelled to Mexico to briefly escape Missouri.
Brittany gave her 2.1 million Instagram followers a peek into their tropical retreat. Posing in a red one-shoulder swimsuit just seven months after giving birth to her third child, looking in great shape as she shrugs off the impact of pregnancy. However, whilst the ex-soccer player demonstrated her ongoing commitment to postpartum wellness and physical recovery, the real highlight of her photo updates came via her eldest two children, Sterling Skye and Bronze.
In one Instagram story, Brittany posted an image of Sterling and Bronze dressed in coordinated pastel outfits, ready for a sibling photo as the elder sister wore a light pink and white floral dress with puffed sleeves, matched with pink slip-on sandals. Bronze was sporting a light green tropical-print button-up shirt, cream-colored shorts, and beige shoes, looked equally picture-ready, at least momentarily until he decided to do his own thing and defied his mother.
As they readied up, the young boy opted to seize the moment by taking his sister’s hand and sprinting away, leaving his mom momentarily stunned and capturing a genuine, chaotic parenting moment. “Bronze go take picture with your sister…… grabs her hand and takes off running This dude is the funniest kid,” Brittany captioned the video, highlighting the unpredictability of life with toddlers.
Rashee Rice receives punishment for Dallas crash: What does it mean for Patrick Mahomes?
This lighthearted mishap stood in contrast to the more serious headlines surrounding the Mahomes family’s NFL circle, particularly involving the Chiefs’ Rashee Rice, whose legal troubles have dominated offseason discussions.
The wide receiver was sentenced to 30 days in jail following his involvement in a multi-car collision in Dallas on March 30, 2024 as he pleaded guilty to two third-degree felony charges, including collision involving serious bodily injury and racing on a highway causing bodily injury. According to the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, Rice was clocked at 119 mph in a Lamborghini Urus SUV when he made “multiple aggressive maneuvers around traffic” before triggering a crash that injured several individuals.
Prosecutors confirmed that Rice fled the scene on foot, failing to assist victims or check for injuries. In addition to the jail sentence, which can be served flexibly. He must also pay approximately $115,000 in restitution for victims’ out-of-pocket medical expenses. The NFL confirmed that Rice remains under investigation and could face suspension under the league’s personal conduct policy, which could be a damaging blow to Mahomes and Andy Reid in their Super Bowl ambitions. Rice had emerged as their WR1 during the early part of 2024 before a season-ending injury put the team on the backfoot, and they may be forced into a similar situation in 2025/26 by depending on an inexperienced Xavier Worthy and ageing Travis Kelce for plays.
