Chicago Sky Coach’s Fiery Sideline Outburst Has WNBA Fans In Tears
The Chicago Sky played what might have been their best game of the 2024 WNBA season against the Dallas Wings on Thursday morning. Chicago won the game by a score of 83-72, and played a complete brand of basketball that has fans excited about the progress they’re making. Rookie Angel Reese was sensational in the game. She finished with 16 points and 18 points, which set the WNBA record for most consecutive double-doubles by a rookie. Despite her team playing excellent, Sky coach Teresa Weatherspoon still displayed her usual fiery self in the sidelines during the win.
At one point in the game, a referee called an offensive foul against the Dallas Wings while standing right in front of Coach Weatherspoon. The Sky coach reacted to the call by jumping out of her seat and mimicking the referee’s foul call with unmatched enthusiasm.
