Chiefs Star, Girlfriend Share Exciting News After Defeating Bills
The Kansas City defeated the Buffalo Bills 32-29 in the AFC Championship Game on Jan. 26. After playing in their seventh consecutive conference title game, the Chiefs became the first two-time Super Bowl champions to advance to the big game in a third straight year.
The Chiefs are looking to make history once more by becoming the first team to ever win a Super Bowl three-peat. While Kansas City’s focus shifts to defeating the Philadelphia Eagles in two weeks, the team earned the right to celebrate on Sunday night.
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Co. hoisted the Lamar Hunt Trophy at Arrowhead Stadium as red and yellow confetti filled the field. “I think coach [Andy] Reid said it, that’s a great football team we played,” Mahomes said of taking down Buffalo.
“But at the end of the day, I trust in my teammates vs. anybody. I just appreciate Chiefs Kingdom for being out here, for being loud and proud, we love you Chiefs Kingdom!”
Chiefs defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi had another reason to celebrate after defeating Josh Allen and the Bills. Nnadi and his girlfriend, Geralynn Hinton, who goes by “Nani,” shared some exciting personal news after the team clinched their spot in the 2025 Super Bowl.
The couple held up a pink Chiefs onesie and wrote, “Daddyβs Newest Fan! ππ,” revealing they are expecting a baby girl.
Sheawna Weathersby, Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones’ partner commented, “πππomgπ©·πππ π½” Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman’s fiancΓ©e Chariah Gordon added, “ππππππ©·π©·π©·π©·π©·.”
The 28-year-old defender and his partner announced they were expecting their first child together on Christmas Eve. “Guess who made the Nnadi List? π,” they captioned the post.
Nnadi, a third-rounder from the 2018 NFL, has spent his entire seven-year career in Kansas City. The Florida State alum looks to earn his fourth Super Bowl ring with the franchise in New Orleans on Feb. 9.
