Donald Trump Praises Patrick Mahomes ‘Loyal’ Chiefs Family

In Donald Trump’s continually narcissistic world view, it’s as simple as liking him means he likes you.  Enter the Kansas City Chiefs. Even though the President predicted they would win Super Bowl LIX, he is remaining a rabid fan because, well, the Chiefs voted for him. From Christian conservative kicker Harrison Butker to Patrick Mahomes’ mother and wife – Randi and Brittany – Trump is not wavering from the Chiefs being his favorite NFL team.

Last weekend, Trump spoke to OutKick’s Clay Travis and spoke glowingly about the Mahomes family.  “I love those two women – they’re so great,” Trump said. “And they’re so loyal. They’re so great. I met Patrick’s mother at the game, before the game started she came over. And Brittany, I’ve seen so much of Brittany, just being so loyal and beautiful. It’s really nice.”  Though it would be productive for Trump – as President of the United States – to praise someone who doesn’t support him politically in an act of uniting the country, that’s another story for another day.

Randi has been the most outwardly vocal Trump loyalist. During the Chiefs’ Monday night game before Election Day, she showed her support by wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat in her box at Arrowhead Stadium. Brittany then set the Internet ablaze by “liking” a “Trump-Vance 2024” post.  “I mean honestly, To be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood,” she wrote. “There’s no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate to see others doing well.”  Trump went on the field before Super Bowl LIX to, let’s say, mixed reviews from the Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles.
