Jalen Hurts Sends Message to Fiancee Bry Burrows Before Super Bowl LIX

Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles are back in the Super Bowl, where they will be taking on the Kansas City Chiefs for the second time in three years. Last time out, Hurts and the Eagles suffered a crushing 38-35 loss, before they ended up collapsing out of the playoffs in the wild card round last year.
The stakes have been raised once again for this matchup between the two best teams in the NFL, and Hurts knows that. After suffering a defeat on the biggest stage the NFL has to offer the last time these two squads met in the Super Bowl, Hurts said that the defeat “lit a flame” in him that sparked Philly’s current playoff run.
“I’ve learned so much,” Hurts said at his press conference in New Orleans on Monday night. “It’s the same as any other game and, you know, I think the moments are the moments … Just being able to become wiser, grow and mature and take all these lessons in for the next season and the next games. It’s had a great driving force. It lit a flame, lit a fire in me, and to have this opportunity again is exactly what you work for.”
Of course, Hurts hasn’t done this by himself, as he’s gotten help from his teammates and his family and friends off the field. Perhaps the most important piece of the puzzle for the latter category is his fiancee, Bry Burrows, who Hurts shouted out when speaking to the reporters.
“To Bry, the Mrs., thank you for the support, thank you for the love, and thank you for being the rock that I can lean on,” Hurts said on Wednesday.

Hurts and Burrows have been dating since their college days, with the couple getting engaged before the start of the 2024 campaign. And after getting Burrows a ring, Hurts will be looking to get a ring for himself by beating the Chiefs in their upcoming Super Bowl matchup.
