Josh Allen Jokingly Called ‘Mr. Hard Launch’ During Interview After Going Instagram Official with Hailee Steinfeld

Josh Allen officially has a nickname since posting photos of his girlfriend Hailee Steinfeld on social media.  “Well, well, well, if it isn’t Mr. Hard Launch, how you doin’?” Up & Adams Show host Kay Adams began an interview with the Buffalo Bills quarterback, 28, published to YouTube on Thursday, Aug. 1.  He gave a small laugh and answered before Adams moved on to a question about the “pizza muffins” his teammate Connor McGovern is reportedly making for his teammates during training camp.

The quick joke was a reference to Allen hard launching his relationship with Steinfeld, 27, in an Instagram carousel on Tuesday, July 23.  “Onward 🤘🏼” the athlete captioned a carousel of photos that included the Edge of Seventeen star.  The couple, who was first linked in May 2023 — had their backs to the camera in the first photo as they stared at the lit-up Eiffel Tower in Paris.  They posed together at an Allen family gathering in a second photo and Steinfeld was pictured window shopping in the third photo of the set.

Before Allen’s post, the couple were spotted together in Paris in March, attending Paris Fashion Week events.  In February, a source told PEOPLE that Steinfeld and Allen’s relationship was getting serious.

“They always planned to spend more time together after his season ended. Things have been going really well,” the insider said. “They’re both very family-oriented and driven, and they want to protect their relationship and keep it private. They’ve been on the same page with all of that.”  The person added that marriage was a possibility for the pair.  “Hailee’s in a great place and would love to settle down if it’s with the right guy,” the source said.
