With a history tied to Chiefs Kingdom – she dated Kelce for five years, becoming a familiar face at Arrowhead Stadium – her insights carried a little extra weight. So what makes the Chiefs so hard to beat? According to Kayla, it’s all about preparation. She praised quarterback Patrick Mahomes as “a student of the game” who has mastered the art of staying calm under pressure. “There’s no panic, no sudden decisions. He studies the game like nobody else,” she said, adding with a laugh, “Oh my god, yeah, that’s all he does.”

Kayla also gave credit to head coach Andy Reid, whose playbook she described as “crazy,” and, of course, to her ex. Kelce, key in critical moments. With a roster of reliable players and a system that works, it’s no wonder the Chiefs have been consistently dominating as they go for the threepeat.

Still, dominance has its downside. While Kayla respects the Chiefs’ excellence, she admitted to a little fatigue watching the same team rise year after year. And that’s where her surprising Super Bowl favorite comes in.

“As much as I’d love to see Josh pull it off, I don’t know if that’s gonna happen,” she said of the Bills’ quarterback. “But it’s something new. I’m bored.”
