King Charles and Prince William are furious with Meghan Markle after seeing her ploy to be a billionaire thanks to the monarchy

King Charles III and Prince William are reportedly furious Meghan Markle plans to market her Duchess of Sussex title as the 43-year-old bids to make more money to achieve her dream goal.  The ex-Suits actress is no longer a working member of the British Royal Family after she quit in 2020 along with Prince Harry, although both retain their titles and their roles in the line of succession.

The pair relocated to California to continue their family and to escape the tabloid press that reportedly left Markle battling depression, and have tried their hand at several business ventures such as American Orchard Riveria and now As Ever.  She’s also had television shows on Netflix, such as With Love, Meghan, and even a failed deal with Spotify in that quest as the mother-of-two works hard in pursuit of her dreams.

But what exactly is it all for? The aim is to join Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift by becoming self-made billionaire women according to a source who once worked with the woman from Los Angeles.  “The former working royal thinks she’s going to be a billionaire,” an insider told The Telegraph. “And that the team she’s assembled will help her achieve that goal.”

Markle’s plan to monetize her name

Next up is her new podcast called Confessions of a Female Founder, which she hopes will draw in listeners and thus allow her to make money from the streaming platforms and sponsors it could attract.

But what is really upsetting the British Royal Family is the aggressive pursuit of her money, whilst Prince William is particularly disdained by her use of the Duchess of Sussex title in marketing, something he views as offensive..  “You do not monetize the monarchy,” an insider told News Nation. “It’s just tacky and classless.  “She could have used her name, Meghan Markle, or even Meghan Sussex, but to promote the page as Meghan, Duchess of Sussex? It’s hideous.”
