Lane Johnson gets engaged weeks after Super Bowl win: “Now we both have rings”

Philadelphia Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson has more than a Super Bowl victory to celebrate this offseason – he’s officially engaged. Just two months after helping lead the Eagles to a 40-22 Super Bowl win over the Kansas City Chiefs, Johnson popped the question to his longtime girlfriend, influencer Kelsey Holmer.
The couple announced their engagement on April 9 with a joint Instagram post featuring dreamy motion-blur photos of the pair in all-white outfits. In the images, Johnson beams while holding Holmer close, and she flashes a stunning diamond ring with a big smile. “Lots to celebrate ,” Holmer wrote in the caption. Johnson couldn’t resist joining in the celebration online, reposting the photo with the caption: “Now we both have rings!.”
From gridiron glory to wedding bells
Holmer has been a visible part of Johnson’s journey in recent years, cheering him on from the sidelines, including during the Eagles’ most recent championship at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. After the victory, she shared a confetti-covered photo from the field with the caption: “SUPERBOWL CHAMPSSSSSS!!!.” Johnson replied with a simple but telling “My ! .” The couple has been together since at least mid-2022, when Johnson first appeared on Holmer’s Instagram. Since then, their relationship has grown more public – and clearly more serious – leading up to this moment.

A veteran with a legacy – and a new chapter ahead
Johnson, 33, is one of the cornerstones of the Eagles franchise. Drafted fourth overall in 2013, he’s since become a six-time Pro Bowler, two-time All-Pro, and now a two-time Super Bowl champion. In March, he signed a one-year extension that keeps him with the Eagles through the 2027 season, making him the team’s longest-tenured player under contract.
Off the field, Johnson shares three children with his ex-wife Chelsea Goodman, whom he divorced in 2022. Now, with a second championship ring on his hand and a new engagement ring on his fiancée’s, the NFL star is clearly entering a new phase – one that promises just as much love as legacy.
