LeBron James and Magic Johnson fall in love with Sha’Carri Richdardson’s golden legs

Sha’Carri Richardson’s electrifying performance in the 4×100 relay at the Paris Olympics has captured the hearts of fans and earned high praise from NBA legends LeBron James and Magic Johnson.  Richardson, along with her powerhouse teammates Gabby Thomas, Melissa Jefferson, and Twanisha Terry, blazed through the race, clocking a season-best time of 41.78 seconds to secure the gold medal for Team USA.

Magic and Vanderbilt hail the Team USA relay

Magic Johnson, another NBA icon, also joined in the celebrations. He took to X (formerly Twitter) to commend the entire relay team, writing, “Congratulations to Melissa Jefferson, Tee Tee Terry, Gabby Thomas, and Sha’carri Richardson for winning gold in the 4×100 relay!”

Johnson’s message reflected the pride felt by the track and field community and fans alike, as the U.S. women’s team redeemed themselves after finishing second in Tokyo.  Los Angeles Lakers star Jarred Vanderbilt also showed his support, sharing a post of Richardson’s final sprint on his Instagram story, captioned simply, “Cold.”
