NBA Champion Metta World Peace Made His Opinion Of Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese Very Clear
Indiana Fever sharpshooter Caitlin Clark and Chicago Sky double-double machine Angel Reese are in a heated race for the WNBA Rookie of the Year award, and so far, fans are split on who deserves it more. Former Los Angeles Lakers star Metta World Peace, however, has an interesting take on the current battle.
Amid the historic season that both Clark and Reese are having, World Peace took it to X (formerly known as Twitter) to share his opinion on the matter. According to the one-time NBA champion, the two are on equal footing and he would declare them co-Rookie of the Year if the season were to end today.
“Co Rookies of the year as of now,” World Peace wrote along with a graphic showing the current season stats for Clark and Reese.

A co-Rookie of the Year is definitely an interesting proposition from Metta World Peace. And considering how sensational both players have been, there’s merit to it. Clark leads all rookies in points (16.1), assists (7.4) and minutes (34.6), while Reese leads all rookies in rebounds (11.7) and steals (1.4).
It remains to be seen who will actually bag the WNBA Rookie of the Year award. For what it’s worth, though, it’s not only World Peace who has considered making Clark and Reese co-Rookie of the Year winners.
