NFL fans FUME as Taylor Swift appears more than anyone in promo for 2024 season… but star quarterbacks Joe Burrow and Brock Purdy are left out

Taylor Swift dominates a new promo for the 2024 NFL season ahead of this week’s opening round of games – leaving football fans absolutely furious. Die-hard followers of the sport were not best pleased with the level of media coverage afforded to Swift when she attended boyfriend Travis Kelce’s games for the Kansas City Chiefs last season.

And a few days out from the opening night of the 2024 season – when defending Super Bowl champions Kansas City host the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday – the NFL has already sparked outrage for showing the pop megastar more than anyone else in its new promo  In the video, which runs through the six calendar months of the season to show highlights from the 2023 campaign, Swift appears an incredible five times throughout.

NFL fans are furious with the amount of times Swift popped up in the promo, taking to X to vent their frustrations.  One wrote in astonishment: ‘Taylor Swift was shown 5 times in this 28 second clip of football being back.’  Another fumed: ‘STOP SHOWING TAYLOR SWIFT WE DONT CARE’.

A third posted: ‘saw taylor swift 5 times and didn’t even see my own team’.  A fourth commented: ‘lol I can be okay with Taylor Swift being in it once, but being the one individual with those most screen time for an NFL hype video is absurd’.

‘WHY ARE WE SHOWING TAYLOR SWIFT 5 TIMES I THOUGHT THIS WAS FOOTBALL?’ moaned another.

While one joked: ‘Taylor swift hype video’.

It remains to be seen whether Swift attends Kelce and the Chiefs’ first game of the season against the Ravens in Kansas City on Thursday night.  The songstress is not set to resume her international Eras Tour until she heads to Miami on October 18, meaning her schedule is free if she wants to support her man at Arrowhead.
