Patrick & Brittany Mahomes’ new child will be named after… a metal?

Patrick and Brittany Mahomes announced on Friday in a video reel that they are expecting a third child. The post included a video in which the Mahome’s family are having a photo shoot, where they show themselves playing with their children wearing all-white outfits and holding ultrasound photos.

It was clear that they wanted to send the message that their children Sterling Skye and Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III will have another member in the brotherhood.

Did not take long for fans to start talking about the topic. Many mentioned the fact that number three should be Patrick’s lucky number. Kansas City Chiefs quarterback is looking to achieve a three-peat with his team, something that no NFL team has ever done. And now that the couple announced the arrival of a third child… it is no coincidence.

They have a special way to name their kids and pets

Nevetheless, the very main thing they started talking about was not related to sports or anything like that. It was about a fun fact. Their children and dogs are named after precious metals. Dogs are named Silver and Steel, and children Sterling and Bronze (real name is Patrick Mahomes III but they call him broze as in “third”). So, fans where wondering… how will be this one named? Because there are many metals left…

Gold, palladium, platinum, mercury, cobalt, aluminuim… are some of the names chosen by the fans, who also take in consideration gemstones names, as the are the most popular ones!  We still have a lot of time until they actually come up with a name, so let the fun continue!
