Patrick Mahomes has claimed he is ‘done’ having kids after his wife Brittany announced they were expecting their third child.  In a heartwarming video posted to Instagram last week, Brittany revealed she is pregnant again after showing off her baby scans alongside Patrick and their two children; daughter Sterling Skye, three, and son Patrick ‘Bronze’ Lavon Mahomes III, one.

But the couple’s next kid will be their last according to Mahomes, who spoke about his family from Chiefs training camp on Tuesday.  ‘I’m done, I’ll say that,’ he told reporters with a smile. ‘I said three [children] and I’m done. No, it’s awesome. I always wanted to have kids young.  ‘I got to grow up in the locker room [with his dad, professional baseball player Patrick Mahomes Sr.], I think I’ve talked about it before, and it made such an impact in my life. And so, I wanted to have kids young and were having a third kid now to join our family.

And Brittany does a great job of doing that and we still go out and enjoy our life, and let our kids see these great things.’ The couple were married in 2022 after a decade together, and gave birth to their second child less than two years ago.  Son Patrick ‘Bronze’ was born on November 28, 2022, with daughter Sterling Skye welcomed back on February 20, 2021.  ‘Round three, here we come,’ Brittany captioned the video announcing they were expecting a third child.

A number of famous faces took to Instagram to congratulate the couple on their big news, with WNBA star Caitlin Clark writing: ‘Awhhh congrats !!!’

However, as Mahomes mentioned, the young couple still makes time for themselves as they recently traveled to Europe to take in Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour.  Mahomes also joined Travis Kelce – of course the boyfriend of pop star Swift – for some golf in London at one point as well.

The quarterback is now back in Kansas City as his team goes for an unprecedented three-peat of NFL championships.  ‘I spend so much time in the building, at football for these seven, eight months,’ he said. ‘And whenever I’m with my family I wanna enjoy those moments.
