With the 2025 Pro Bowl Games at an end, all eyes in the NFL now turn to New Orleans, where Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs players touched down on Sunday afternoon. The two teams have arrived in the Big Easy one week before Super Bowl LIX inside the Caesars Superdome, where the Chiefs are slight favorites to win their third consecutive Super Bowl title.

Don’t tell that to the Eagles, though. Philadelphia is intent on revenge after it lost to Kansas City in Super Bowl LVII two seasons ago, and the NFC champions believe their explosive Saquon Barkley-led running game will bring them to closer to winning the Vince Lombardi Trophy this time around.

Mahomes reminds the Eagles who is “boss”

Perhaps it is those fears that inspired Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs’ superstar quarterback, to don a black hoodie emblazoned with the word “boss” on the front, clearly visible as he exited the team plane in New Orleans on Sunday. After all, Mahomes has won three of his four appearances in the NFL’s biggest game, and he has been named a Super Bowl MVP three times before the age of 30.

Granted, “Boss” is also the shorthand name of designer fashion firm Hugo Boss, for whom Mahomes has starred in ad campaigns modeling its men’s clothing line. But it still creates an imposing image with which the Eagles need to contend in the Super Bowl; Mahomes has that air of inevitability around him, as his Chiefs team has won 17 consecutive one-score games, many of them dramatic comeback victories.
