Joe Buck claims he’s already been handed Super Bowl LXI script on Monday Night Football – ‘I saw it’  ESPN star Joe Buck laughed that he’s already been handed the Super Bowl LXI ‘script.’

The veteran broadcaster dropped the bombshell-style joke during the Chargers–Eagles Monday Night Football clash.  He casually told Troy Aikman he’d “seen the script” for the 2027 Super Bowl and that was all the internet needed.

To normal viewers, Buck was clearly having a laugh.  But to the brigade convinced the NFL is secretly run like the WWE? He might as well have admitted everything.

Buck had just teased ESPN and ABC returning to the Super Bowl rotation with Super Bowl LXI at SoFi Stadium on February 14, 2027, when he turned to Aikman and asked, “Have you seen the script, do you know who’s gonna play in that one? I saw it.”

It’s not the first time fuel’s been tossed onto the “NFL is rigged” fire.  And now Buck’s cheeky one-liner has the rumors buzzing again.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell was even asked about “rigged” claims before Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas, Nevada.

That was the first championship game since Travis Kelce began dating music icon Taylor Swift.  “I don’t think I’m that good a scripter or anybody on our staff,” Goodell joked.

“Listen, there is no way I could have scripted that one let’s put it that way.  “I think the idea that this was a script, that this was pre-planned, that’s nonsense.  “It’s frankly not even worth talking about.”
