Queen Camilla doesn’t want Harry to see his father King Charles: It’s vital to his survival

Queen Camilla is reportedly urging her husband, King Charles, to keep his distance from Prince Harry during the latter’s upcoming visit to the UK, citing concerns over Charles’ health amid his cancer treatment. The Queen is said to be “worried” that a potential reunion between the estranged father and son could take a serious toll on the King.

King Charles is scheduled to be in Scotland around the same time Prince Harry will be in London attending the WellChild awards. According to RadarOnline.com, while there has been no official word from either side about a potential meeting, insiders suggest that a face-to-face in Scotland is possible if Harry is invited. However, it seems Camilla is firmly against any plans for the father and son to come together.

The strained relationship between Charles and Harry has been a recurring source of tension for the royal family, especially following Harry’s explosive memoir, Spare.  The book not only aired deeply personal family matters but also described a physical altercation with his older brother, Prince William. Furthermore, Harry’s media appearances, alongside his wife Meghan Markle, have included accusations that the royal family dismissed Meghan’s mental health struggles and claims of racism, further complicating family dynamics.

Though the Duke of Sussex has previously voiced his disappointment over not meeting his father during his last visit to London, he expressed hope for a potential reunion in the future.  However, sources indicate that Camilla is opposed to such a meeting on Harry’s upcoming trip, particularly given the stress it may add to Charles’ health as he continues cancer treatment and prepares for his upcoming journey to Australia in mid-October.

“She has been the principal voice urging Charles to slow down and take things easy,” a source told the Daily Beast.  “The last thing she wants him to do is to get stressed out over a meeting with Harry.”
