Randi Mahomes, who is the mother of Patrick Mahomes, has been inconsolable after she retired from her job at the Hollytree Country Club where she spent years of hard work and determination, while also making lifelong friends along the way.

Randi Mahomes had a great friend who is like family, Meghan Howard who mentored her and guided her while also giving her support in her time of need. Now she sent her fiend off to retirement with a tearjerking message on Instagram.

The message began “18 years later and she’s leaving me. I will always believe that the Lord gave me Hollytree and Randi at a time in my life when I needed them. A job to provide for me and my girls, and a friend of mine who had walked the path I was heading down.A hard-working, divorced, single mom was just the friend and mentor I needed.

Meghan continued “The years, laughs, memories, ‘meetings’, tears, life lessons, and even fights over the years will always hold a special place in my heart. Coming into work will never be the same, but I’m so excited for the next chapter for my girl,” she added.

Her friend remembered when she was a divorced single mom who was fighting the good fight and pushing his all-star son to achieve his dreams.

As soon as the comment hit the internet, it took many by surprise, and Randi Mahomes commented with a simple line that says a lot about what she’s been feeling lately after she retired from the country club, she belonged to for such a long time.
