The Mahomes clan continues to celebrate their heritage as Randi Mahomes, mother of the Kansas City Chiefs’ star quarterback, rocks a cowgirl outfit just days after her son also got into the Texas spirit.  It’s the second time that the 52-year-old woman has dressed up as a personality from the Old Wild West as this time she’s decided to put on her cowgirl hat once again for the Cody Stampede.

“When at the rodeo!!,” Randi Mahomes posted to X.com, formerly Twitter, perched atop of a rodeo bull in a white top. “Why not?!?”  The Cody Stampede is often dubbed “Cowboy Christmas” and sees countless professionals show off their talents on the live animals but it’s more than a chance to show off for the Mahomes’, who hail from the Lone Star State in Texas.

It’s the second time the matriarch of the Mahomes’ clan has got dressed up in Texas gear after she previously appeared at the Houston Rodeo in March 2024, where she loudly exclaimed her pride in her home state for all to see on social media.  “Had an absolute blast at the Houston Rodeo!,” Randi Mahomes posted to Instagram in March. “This East Texas mama felt right at home among the cowboy hats and country tunes.”

She even included Beyonce’s Texas Hold ‘Em hit track as the music on the photo, continuing with the Texas theme.
Patrick Mahomes hails Texan history.  Randi’s even passed on this pride to her children, as Patrick can often be spotted arriving at the Arrowhead Stadium in cowboy hats before gearing up for NFL action with the Kansas City Chiefs as he did in 2019.

The 28-year-old quarterback was born in Tyler in the eastern portion of the state, with the city being located around 98 miles away from Dallas, whilst he played his football in Whitehouse during high school and at Texas Tech in college before heading to Missouri.
