Shannon Sharpe’s Spirited Sermon About Angel Reese, Caitlin Clark Haters Says It All
Women’s college basketball fans’ allegiances have been divided between Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese ever since Reese taunted Clark during the 2023 NCAA Championship game. Many fans seem to believe that, if they like one of these two players, it must mean that they can’t like the other.
But Reese and Clark playing together during the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game serves as proof that if the two can get along, then fans should be able to root for both of them. And NFL legend and sports media personality shared that sentiment during an appearance on “Nightcap” with Chad Ochocinco.
“What has transpired is that if you like one, they want you to hate the other,” Sharpe said about Reese and Clark fans. “I refuse to do that. I believe I can like Caitlin Clark and her game and still love Angel Reese and her game,” Sharpe continued.
“I don’t have to choose! And it seems like they want you to choose. ‘Well if you like Caitlin Clark, you’re supposed to hate Angel. And if you like Angel, you’re supposed to hate Caitlin.’ WHY?!” Sharpe added.

Much respect to Sharpe for dropping this truth bomb about the two WNBA rookie icons.
