Shohei Ohtani’s wife makes rare appearance at World Series parade celebrations leaving fans stunned
SHOHEI OHTANI’s rarely-seen wife made a surprise public appearance to celebrate the Dodgers’ World Series triumph.
The Dodgers won their second straight World Series last weekend with a thrilling victory in their Game 7 clash with the Toronto Blue Jays. The Dodgers stars and their other halves hit the town this week to celebrate the team’s success.
And baseball fans were stunned to see Othani‘s ultra-private other half, Mamiko Tanaka, make a public appearance at the team’ open-top bus parade.
Tanaka, 28, was also spotted hanging out with her husband’s other halves in snaps shared by Chelsea Freeman and Brianna Betts. And she got into the spirit of things by wearing a custom Dodgers jacket with her husband’s jersey number on the back.

Freeman’s accompanying caption for the snap read: “My girls #Big3.” Tanaka’s hubby – who is two years into his mammoth $700million deal – only lasted two-and-a-half innings in game seven and allowed three earned runs in the pulsating match.
Victory over the Blue Jays saw the Dodgers become the first team to retain the Commissioner’s Trophy since the New York Yankees‘ legendary three-peat from 1998 to 2000. And the magnitude of the achievement isn’t lost on Head Coach Dave Roberts.
He said: “We’ve put together something pretty special. “To do what we have done in this span of time is pretty remarkable.
“Let the pundits and fans talk about whether it’s a dynasty or not. “But I am pretty happy with where we are at.”
