Simone Biles is back with her beau!  On Thursday, Aug. 15, the 11-time Olympic medalist, 27, posted a photo of her husband Jonathan Owens — the first she has shared on social media of him since her return from the 2024 Olympics in Paris.  The gymnast, who arrived home on Monday, Aug. 12, shared a snap of Owens, 29, appearing to do his hair while standing in a bathroom alongside one of their bulldogs.

“🥰🥵🤍,” Biles, who took home three gold medals and one silver in the Paris Games, captioned the shot of the NFL player.   Biles revealed that she was back home in the U.S. on Aug. 12 — the day after her appearance at the closing ceremony — as she shared a makeup-free selfie from bed on her Instagram Stories with the caption, “Never been so happy.”

Her husband Owens flew out to Paris to support the star and saw her win Olympic gold in the all-around final, but the safety was unable to stay for Biles’ later individual finals — including the beam final and floor exercise final, in which she won silver — as he had to return to training camp for his team, the Chicago Bears.

During a press conference ahead of him heading to Paris, Bears head coach Matt Eberflus explained why they were allowing Owens to travel to France to support his wife.  “Just because we respect the Olympics,” Eberflus, 54, said, according to ESPN. “That is a big deal. And he’s just supporting the one he loves the most. And I think that’s so cool that he gets to do that.”

He added: “We welcome that, and it’s going to be awesome. Go USA.”  Normally, NFL players are required to attend all training camp sessions ahead of the new football season, but the Bears made a rare expectation and excused Owens from seven upcoming preseason practices at the camp in Lake Forest, Ill.

Following his wife’s record-breaking performance at the Games, which saw her become the most decorated U.S. gymnast in Olympic history, Owens praised his wife on social media.  After Biles posted an image of herself wearing the four medals she earned at the Games with the caption, “more than my wildest dreams 🥹,” Owens wrote in the comments section, “So so proud of you baby.”

The athlete also spoke to PEOPLE while at the Olympics in Paris and was full of compliments for his other half.  “I’m confident in her ability. Obviously you still have to go out there and do it, but I was confident that she would,” Owens told PEOPLE on Aug. 5, adding, “as the world saw, man, she didn’t disappoint.”  “It was an unbelievable, once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I’m just so thankful I was able to go and just witness her continue to make history,” he added. “I’m just so proud.”
