Stephen Curry erupts after refs erase his three in heated on court outburst

Golden State Warriors’ star Stephen Curry found himself at the center of controversy during their 111-95 win over the New Orleans Pelicans. Midway through the third quarter, Curry sank a deep three-pointer that electrified the crowd. However, the jubilation was short-lived as officials nullified the basket, citing an offensive foul. Visibly frustrated, Curry vehemently protested the call, gesturing animatedly and expressing disbelief at the decision.
Despite the heated moment, Curry channeled his energy positively, finishing the game with 23 points, 6 assists, and 4 rebounds. His leadership was instrumental in guiding the Warriors to snap a two-game losing streak and improve their season record to 42-31. Teammates Jimmy Butler III and Jonathan Kuminga also made significant contributions, with Butler recording a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds, while Kuminga added 16 points and 8 rebounds.
Curry’s outburst could easily have earned him a technical foul or even worse.
Warriors overcome early deficit to secure win
The game began with the Pelicans taking an early 28-21 lead by the end of the first quarter. However, the Warriors displayed resilience, gradually eroding the deficit and ultimately dominating the fourth quarter by outscoring New Orleans 28-13. This late-game surge ensured a comfortable victory and a season sweep over the Pelicans.
Curry’s return from a two-game absence due to a pelvic contusion couldn’t have come at a more crucial time for Golden State. His presence on the court not only elevates the team’s performance but also boosts morale as they aim to secure a favorable position in the Western Conference standings. Currently holding the seventh spot, the Warriors are keen on avoiding the play-in tournament and ensuring direct entry into the playoffs.
Curry acknowledged the importance of maintaining composure and focusing on the team’s collective goals. As the regular season winds down, the Warriors’ performance in the remaining games will be critical in determining their playoff trajectory.
