Travis Kelce’s dad Ed has been lauded by Taylor Swift fans for his brutal response to the news that her stalker has been arrested by police.   An American man who made threats against both Swift and boyfriend Kelce on social media was detained ahead of her first Eras Tour show in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, last week.

The suspected stalker was ‘taken into custody at the entry control point to the venue before the concert’ on Wednesday, according to USA Today, after ‘initial investigations could not rule out that he posed a threat.’ Five days on from the arrest, Swifties have found Ed Kelce’s savage reaction to the news on his Facebook account.   Travis’ dad shared a Forbes article reporting the stalker’s arrest and wrote: ‘Love to know who this some-b***h is.’

Swift’s die-hard legion of fans absolutely loved Ed’s response, with one writing on X: ‘PROTECT ED KELCE AT ALL COSTS’.

Another commented: ‘ed kelce the icon, the legend that you are’.

A third said: ‘The Kelce’s will always protect each other and fight for each other and that’s such a true family. Now Taylor is part of the family and will be protected too!’

While a fourth put: ‘Go off, Ed! He means business!’

After they discovered that Ed often shares articles about Travis and his pop-megastar girlfriend on Facebook, another user said: ‘ed kelce is just one of the girls’.

Ed was pictured alongside Taylor in a suite at Arrowhead Stadium when his son’s new love interest attended a Kansas City Chiefs game back in October, while Scott Swift was also joined by Travis at his daughter’s concert in Buenos Aires last year.

Last month, Travis revealed that his dad often stumbles across rumors about the celebrity couple’s well-documented relationship online – before quizzing him on whether they’re true or not.  ‘Do you know what he’ll do? He’ll see some wild s*** come across and be like, “what the f— is this?”‘, he sad on the Bussin with the Boys podcast.

‘It’ll be something so f***ing out of the blue, like something about me and Taylor, he’s like, “Hey, what the… are you guys OK?”   ‘I’m like, “Dad, get the f*** off Facebook, dad. Are you f***ing kidding me?’ That’s his search engine.’
